Analog Intuition is an educational website for engineers learning analog circuits, power electronics, and control systems. The goal is intuition first — interactive visualizations and structured lessons that make the math easier to trust.
Everything runs in your browser. There are no accounts, logins, or paywalls.
Analog Intuition is built and maintained by Joseph Spencer, a Field Applications Engineer at Analog Devices. The material reflects practical conversations with engineers who wanted faster, more visual ways to build circuit intuition — not vendor marketing pages.
This site does not collect personal data. There are no sign-up forms, no stored user profiles, and no sale of visitor information. Tools compute locally in your browser; nothing you type into a calculator is sent to a server for storage.
Analog Intuition is an independent educational site. It is not an Analog Devices product, datasheet, or official design review. Tools, tutorials, plots, downloaded files (including LTspice schematics), and articles are provided as is, for learning and exploration.
There is no warranty of any kind — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or that a result matches a lab, a datasheet, or a production design. Models are simplified. Component values snap to standard sets. Numerics can be wrong. You are responsible for checking the work against the manufacturer's data, your schematic, and your own measurements before you build, buy, or ship anything.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joseph Spencer and Analog Intuition assume no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from use of this site — including failed boards, blown parts, downtime, or relying on a calculator instead of a design review. Third-party links (articles, vendors, other tools) are convenience only; we do not control or endorse those sites.
Use of the site means you accept this. If you need a guaranteed answer, this is the wrong tab.
